How much money to take to Crimea for recreation and entertainment? I will try to answer the question that torments every tourist when planning a vacation, but do not forget that every tourist has a varied amount in his wallet, and everyone walks as best he can.

For me personally, about 3,000 rubles was enough for a week of living in the city of Alushta, for someone this money will only be enough for dinner at a restaurant, so we will try to find a “middle ground” and derive a formula for the amount of money for a vacation in Crimea.

To begin with, you need to understand that not throughout the entire territory of the peninsula you can relax cheaply and at the same time go on a larger number of excursions, and even save money. Here you need to know in which city it will be cheaper to relax, and in which city you will have to pay a good amount of money.

The most expensive territory is the South Coast of the peninsula (southern coast of the peninsula), but even here you can find places where you can have a cheap rest, for example, Alushta, Feodosia, Alupka. As for Yalta, you will have to take a lot of money with you for this city, but it is beautiful and respectable here.

Prices for rental housing in Crimea

The bulk of the money will be spent on accommodation in Crimea, so this issue should be seriously approached from all sides, one of these sides is the prices for booking inexpensive hotels, which I described in the previous article.

Again, you can save very well on rental housing by traveling and resting as savages on the peninsula, just imagine a sandy beach and your vacation in a tent, which does not depend on anyone. By the way, if you don't know where to find sandy beaches, then a whole article about the sandy coast of the peninsula is devoted to this issue.

Accommodation prices will be something like this:

  • Rent of 1-room apartment per day for the season - 1300 - 7000 rubles per day;
  • Standard hotel room for high season from 2000-3500 rubles per day;
  • Renting a house in the private sector with all amenities on site - from 600 rubles / day;
  • Rent of 1 room apartment per day for the low season period - from 12,000 - 30,000 rubles per month.

Have you already guessed that holidays in high season will be much more expensive than in autumn or spring? For the high season, you will have to take a lot more money, and you can only rent a house for the high season for a day, no one takes payment for a month, it is more profitable for the owner.

As for a more detailed consideration of the issue of housing in the Crimea, then I have a separate article entitled ‘how to have an inexpensive vacation in the Crimea’, there you will find many ways to save money on accommodation.

Now you have approximate information about prices and the answer to the question of how much money to take with you for recreation and entertainment, according to the statistics of spending money among Russian tourists at the Black Sea resorts, such an amount comes out that one tourist per week requires about 5,000 rubles, but I fit in 3000 rubles, not denying myself nothing, and I do not need much - sea, sun and sand.
